Language problem

We have used AirB&B (one or two times) and VRBO maybe 6 times in the last 5 years or so. Here's an interesting issue, maybe a problem.
All of a sudden starting perhaps 4 months back when I tried to use AirB&B all communications started coming back in Russian! Even trying to change password or asking for help, all responses in Russian (which I can't read and wouldn't understand anyway). As far as I could see there is no provision in the user profile for language and I also cannot detect a way to deal with a human being at AirB&B!
I preferred VRBO anyway (we do longer stays; if travelling in CA we take our dogs with us and there are more of those options and better houses on VRBO) so it looks like I won't/can't deal with AirB&B in the future.
Possibly a unique issue!!
