How different? The LIRR-Airtrain is a lot less steps (and some avoidable entirely, if done right) than a subway-Airtrain or subway-LIRR-Airtrain trip.

Car service or cab at 6-6.15 is what I too would do in this situation.

Not too many nytango posts out there to disagree with mine. In any event, no reason to bring in OUTSIDE matters. ;)
