Restaurants pre-security at EWR

Are there any good restaurants pre-security at EWR?

Which terminal since there are three. I haven’t been in A in ages so I’m not sure. In B, there is a little mini-mall that runs through all the pre-security areas with a few restaurants. In C, anything pre-security is on the baggage claim level. The interactive EWR map on their site can tell you what restaurants are there.

Don't know about "good"
B has Budweiser Brewhouse, Panda Express, Smash Burger, listed above on a quick look pre security.

That's the gist of the post. It's easy to find a list, but impossible to find anything more. The terminal doesn't matter because we're staying at the airport Marriott.

EWR is utter garbage. There's really nothing worthwhile at all pre-security, and very little if anything worthwhile post-security.

Our definitions of "good" differ greatly.

I was trying to find a beer at C pre-security while waiting for family. Nothing but soft drinks and cheap food.

Plus the only ATM machine was broken.

The last (and only) time I stayed at the airport Marriott, there was a pizza place that delivered to the hotel. I didn't try it but I bet it's way ahead of anything at the terminals. Hopefully the front desk will remember their name because I don't.
