Depart Time Upper East Side to LGA
I have an 8AM flight from LGA to BOS tomorrow morning. What time would you leave the Upper East Side of NYC to get to LGA? Any general guidance on how far in advance people leave NYC to get to LGA? I have TSA Precheck. Looking for some general guidance.

Delta Shuttle? I ask because when it was at the Marine Air Terminal, you COULD arrive at 7:15-7:30 for the 8am flight. It was so convenient.
For an 8am flight now, I would arrive no later than 6:30 as I hate the stress of the long TSA lines UNLESS you have Precheck.

My experience is that you'd probably make it if you leave at 7 but its walk straight from security into the gate. Better you leave at 6:30. Being there by 6:30 is a bit early for me. If I had your schedule, I'd plan to leave my place around 6:30 and casually catch a cab to arrive LGA a bit before 7.

If you're not checking a bag and have TSA pre-check you could leave by 7 and still make it. But traffic starts to back up around then so i'd aim for 630-645 just to be cautious. Pretty good dining options in that part of LGA if you have time to kill.
