Getting to JFK
 

I am flying out of JFK next week on united which I beleive is terminal 7. I live in south jersey so my plan is to take the NJ Transit train which leaves at 3:53 AM and gets me to NY Penn about 5:20. From there I will take 5:26 LIRR to Jamaica if i can catch it if not I take the 5:47. This puts me at the airtrain to the terminals between 6:00 and 6:10. The Airtrain should get me to the terminals no later that 6:25ish I have been told.

Is this enough time to get through secuirty and get to the gate?

if I don't go this route my other option would be to take the NJ Transit train to Newark Penn then hop on the path to world trade and take the A train all the way. I just think this route I listed above may be better.

Please advise I don't want to miss this flight. I flown out of JFK back in 2008 and the secuirty line went quickly but that was for a different terminal since I flew jet blue back then.

AirTrain service to and from the JFK terminals will be suspended at that hour, unless you're traveling on Saturday:

You did not indicate in your post what time your flight departs.
