Attention Vermont Leaf-Peepers!

Autumn foliage update: I drove U.S. Route 7 between Bennington and Rutland on Sunday. Color is at about 20%, I would estimate. Next weekend could be peak.

I can see Okemo MT (Ludlow VT) out of my window every day and it has been wonderful watching the colors finally changing to bright reds, oranges, and yellows. It certainly will be peak for the holiday weekend!

I would appreciate any New England foliage reports for the weekend of Oct. 19-20. Thanks. We're considering a drive on Sunday.

It's a pretty wet and dreary day here in Ludlow today. There is still quite a bit of color despite a windy wet day earlier this week. I'm afraid it's now or never, so tomorrow just might be the day!

Hey Vermonters! Will any color be left during the weekend of Oct. 26-27?
