BOS A to E connection

This may be a stupid question, but is there any way to get from TE to TA airside?

I'm aware that the B to C connector is now open and operational, and that there exists a non-scheduled as-demand-requires DL bus from TA to TE airside. Can you get on the inverse of that bus?

I'm departing from the regional gates of TA at 6:30PM and wanted to check out the new E gates SkyClub, or maybe if I have even more time take a look at the new Chase Sapphire lounge.

I think the bus goes both ways. It's likely discussed in the Delta forum.

DP - asked the SkyClub dragons and was informed that the bus does not go both ways, it's one way. Either way, walked back, took about half an hour and was good for a workout, not so noteworthy that it would be worth another visit when departing terminal A

Hm, the bus was working on Jan. 2: those deplaning at E from the Delta DUB flight (preclearance so no immigration at landing) were directed to use the bus at E13 to shuttle over to A for connections. I think they check tickets to assure you have an onward flight from A.

Perfect! I'm flying from DUB to BOS and will be needing to go to A from E. Since the pre-clearance will be done in DUB, I was wondering if the shuttle was available to passengers coming from DUB.

Connecting from A to E [BOS]

Hi all! First post here because I need some help.

Our original first leg of our Paris trip was cancelled and I need to rebook. One of our options is a connecting flight in Boston, but I know I'd have to go through security again.

So: Our first leg would be a Delta flight from MCO arriving at 3:20p on a Monday afternoon. Our AirFrance flight is at 5:15p, but in terminal E, obviously. We are all travelling first/business class. Is the two hour layover enough time to get between terminals? We will have checked luggage, but that should get transferred on our own, correct?

(apologies if these are questions asked before, we don't usually have complex flights so I'm a bit in over my head here)

Assuming that your flight arrives in A, you could choose to exit the terminal building and walk across the garage and re-clear security, or you could take the airside bus. I can't tell you how frequently it runs or how long it takes as I've never taken it, but have seen people waiting for it. The new location in A is in the walkway connector between the satellite and main terminal buildings, on the side of the satellite. So if you arrive in the main A, I would add maybe 5 minutes to walk to where the bus stop is. If you arrive in the satellite A, it's right at the bottom of the escalator into the walkway.

My gut tells me that 2 hours is plenty of time, even if you decide to walk and re-clear security, barring any significant flight delays.

Agree that two hours should be fine and would rely on the airside transfer bus vs reclearing security. All one ticket so they should transfer checked bags, but I would take an extra pair of underwear, meds, etc. in carryons just in case.

We were planning having an overnight bag no matter what because six year olds lol. Plus splurging for the first class, we’re on no shortage of luggage options.

sounds like the bus is going to be our route just to avoid little ones complaining about a long walk (wait till they start walking Paris!)

Thanks all!

Thanks all!

I was just in terminal A this evening and walked past the bus stop. I asked the Delta person working the desk there. She said the bus runs about every 15-20 minutes and takes about 7-10 minutes to ride. There are two entry points - at the top of the elevator in the satellite terminal and at the bottom. You get your boarding pass checked and then get in line waiting for the bus. The top had a ton of people in line and I overheard a Delta employee asking people what time their flight was. The bottom had only like 4 people waiting.

So perhaps consider going to the bottom via the elevator or escalator if the line at the top is too long, or vice versa.

Sounds like you should budget about 30 min for the transfer.

Good luck.

Excellent help, thanks! I hadn't seen there were two boarding locations, so it'll be nice to have options!

Quick question. I have a flight on UA from terminal B. Can I check in at terminal E, use the lounge and walk airside to terminal B?
Thank you.

If you are able to check in online and obtain your boarding pass, and do not have luggage to check, you can enter security at Terminal E, go to whatever lounge you believe you have access to, and then walk airside to Terminal B.

How about airside connections from Terminal A? Flying DL out of Terminal A but would like to visit the Chase Sapphire Lounge in Terminal B.
