Luggage storage in BOS?

Is there any kind of left luggage service at BOS? I will be leaving for vacation there and will probably take my laptop on the bus from Portland, but don't want to schlep it around France. Is there somewhere I can lock it up for a week?

There's no luggage storage at the airport that I know of. You might be able to store it at the Hilton attached to the airport; I'd call them and ask.

I think the Hilton is probably your best bet here - however in a pinch, there is luggage storage in both of the South Station terminals (rail and bus). I haven't used it myself so I can't comment as to how well it works but it is advertised on the South Station website. It's a reasonably quick trip on the Silver Line from South Station to BOS (and of course the bus to/from Portland can go there as well) but definitely adds overhead compared to simply being dropped off/picked up directly at the terminals.

Hmm, thanks. It's not worth it to go to South Station just for this, but if the Hilton is amenable I'll certainly give them a try.

If you’re flying in and out of the same airport in France, you might consider storing it there. European airports are more likely to have left luggage facilities than American airports.

For example: http://easycdg.com/airport-guide/baggage-storage/

That's a good idea, thanks! LYS airport does indeed have such a service.

But I've decided to just take a half day vacation and leave it all here.
