Boston Hotel for 2 nights, which one is best?
 

I know this is a 'luxury' hotel forum so not sure if this is the right place.

Looking for a hotel in Boston for 2 nights 10-12 March ! I'm not looking at anything at the top end !

I fly in Sat night (BA First) and have two nights to myself before I'm picked up on Monday morning to head north on business.

On the Sunday I'm going to do some research into what high end furniture and lighting stores in Boston are selling, so being around the shopping areas would be preferable.

I know nothing about Boston, but I'm currently looking at Lenox (£532 for 2 nights), Omni Parker House (£532), The Godfrey (£560), Beacon Hill (£486)

If anyone can recommend something they think is better or which one is best that would be great

From Saturday to Monday Intercontinental could be an option, especially if you are (or apply) for Ambassador Status (tight timeline, but . With a free Weekend certificate it can be great value. I stayed in 2011 and while it´s surely not high end it offers a Club, good sized suites

I haven't been to Boston for a while but would tend to prefer the Four Seasons across the street from the Public Gardens. No idea how its location works for high end furniture stores, however. I suspect those are more outside of the center of town.

But it doesn't sound like you are looking for a luxury hotel, so I am going to move this to the New England forum where you should get a better range of responses.

Update - I've booked the Langham Hotel Boston !

It's well located, looks good enough for me and was considerably cheaper than the rivals around this price at £400 for two nights ! (think I've picked an expensive weekend to be in Boston).

From the research i've done, every weekend is expensive in Boston :-D

Indeed, was shocked by prices.

A Deluxe King at the Fairmont Copley Plaza is £348 per night plus tax. Book though a Virtuoso agent for amenities. Good location for shopping, but I'm not sure about shopping for high end furniture.
