Location of car rental counters at Bradley airport
 

Hi all,

Could someone please clarify if Bradley airport has any car rental counters in the terminal or are they all a shuttle bus ride away? The airport's website suggests shuttle but the website I'm using to find a decent car price (Opodo) says that Budget has a counter in the terminal.

I ask as I also can't decide between the on-airport Sheraton or getting a shuttle to somewhere off site for our first night (evening arrival from Edinburgh in mid-October). If I can pick up a car and also stay the night without leaving the building then the more expensive Sheraton is worth it over the Holiday Inn (which is next to the Dollar car rental location it seems). I really don't want to have to drive much after a long flight!

No car rental counters at the Bradley Airport. All operators are off site and use shuttles. The rental locations are only a few minutes away. You can stay at the Sheraton then take a shuttle the next morning to pick up the car. As you mention, you could also stay at the HIX and pick up the car from Dollar the next morning as it is right next door. There's also a Candlewood Suites that is walking distance from the Enterprise location as well.

There are counters in the airport, but to actually get to the cars all require a shuttle ride.
