NE Patriots Buy 767's

Looks like no more charter flights for the New England Patriots. They just purchased 2 custom Boeing 767's for the team

Since this really isn't a "general travel news" story, I will move to the appropriate destination forum for further discussion. Thanks

For 16-22 flights a year? Something tells me there are alternate uses and tax angles to this, more so that flying to and from away games. I think the second was needed for Brady's head.

Really?

Stolen from a friend: Now the Patriots own 55 Jets.

They will be chartering the planes out when they don't need them. 2 road preseason games, 8 regular season games and the Superbowl mean they only need them for their own use 11 times/year.

Cool

I wonder if they'll deflate the tires, too.

That plane will be properly pressurized. But even if there's a problem with the 1st one it appears they have a second one that can do the job almost as well and looks just as good as the first one does.
