Welcome to FT, hlwoodcock. No, there is no way to pass airside between any terminals at BOS, even ones that are right next to each other.

Correct - E and (most of) C are now connected (only C40-42 are behind separate security).
To the OP on this last question, you can walk airside from E all the way to just short of getting to B. You will have to reclear security at B, but it's only a short hop outside and back in between C and B, and it's signed.
