BOS-LGW on Norwegian begins May 2016
 

According to a press release, Norwegian Air Shuttle will be flying from BOS to London Gatwick, beginning May 2016.

According to the Boston Globe:

- will use 787-9 aircraft
- 4 times weekly
- 35 pemium economy, 309 economy seats

Excellent, always good to have another TATL option here. Frankly, it'd probably still work out cheaper to fly a paid Norwegian ticket with their myriad bag and seat fees than a BA award with its surcharges. BOS to Western Europe isn't really that far, so unless the seat pitch is Spirit style, it doesn't really matter to me if I'm in economy.

They do have a fairly broad set of routes out of LGW as well, which will make BOS one stop to many places at hopefully a lower fare:
