Boston- best nice Sunday brunch?
We will be in Boston for Father's Day Sunday. We are staying in the back Bay Area (Fairmont). I am sure our hotel will have a nice Sunday brunch- but what is the best Sunday brunch in Boston?? Thanks

It sort of depends on what you want - as you point out, the big hotels will have big brunches.
If you like more informal and a bit different, consider East Coast Grill in Cambridge or the Blue Room in Cambridge. Scampo at the Liberty Hotel also has a bit more contemporary take. Might also consider Stella in the South End of Boston. |

Looking for something in the back Bay Area

Are you looking for something fancy or a hole in the wall with good food? (I don't know much about Sunday brunches in the Back Bay but others might be able to help more with that info.)

Take a look at Aquitaine or Eastern Standard. Neither precisely in the Back Bay but 10-15 minute walk.

Stephanie's on Newbury is great for brunch and is in Back Bay

I think Mistral has the best brunch in Boston. Very close to the Fairmont. And they take reservations!
