BOS connection AA to AC in Term B - stay airside

BOS connection AA to AC in Term B - stay airside
I'm making a connection at BOS from AA to AC. I know both are in Terminal B, but AC leaves from the US side of the terminal (across the parking garage). Is there a way to get there staying airside, or do I have to exit security, cross the garage, and re-clear?

I was hoping something had changed.
As Terminal B is set up, AC, US, and AA are all mutually
unreachable post-security. It's only recent that there's been
sterile access between AA and American Eagle. BOS is a
truly badly arranged airport.

Like most older airports, BOS was designed for point-to-point travel, not interline connections. I understand why that might today be considered a poor design, but I still much prefer airports like BOS and LGA that are relatively small (i.e., no lengthy walks or train rides to get to your gate) and relatively close to where most people are trying to get (Boston and NYC, respectively). Airports like DEN drive me crazy!

It was horrid in 1969 when I started flying here regularly,
and it's horrid now. Your point re O&D vs. connecting is
well taken, but even for dropoff and pickup it was nasty
over 40 years ago and hasn't much improved.

I don't think it's possible to overstate how bad Terminal C pick up for arrivals is (including taxi queue).
Agree that the rest is okay (maybe even B once construction is over). And, you're right, the proximity to downtown is almost unmatched.

Terminals A and E are brand new, and all the work was done concurrently with the big dig such that getting to and from, and likewise around the airport is MUCH better than it used to be.
Add in the proximity to downtown and Logan is pretty convenient.
It's not an airport built for connecting as some have pointed out, but I'm not sure too many people connect there. Couldn't tell you for sure though since I live in Boston. Takes me 18 minutes from my driveway to terminal. In a word: convenient.
