Diversion to Econ parking @ Logan

I fly out of Logan several times per month. Usually it's an early AM departure (say 7am or so), but sometimes late afternoon/early evening. Recently, and with regularity, I've been diverted from central parking to the econ lot. While I always leave enough time, this is a real PITA. Is it just me, or is there something going on I'm not aware of?

Seems to be a lot of construction in the Terminal B garage which has eliminated a lot of spaces.

It is indeed probably overspill from Terminal B. I think two levels of the B garage are out of commission -- on Wednesday morning B was down to short-term only by 5:45am.

This is why I always hike it down to PVD.
Central parking is always available, and mad cheap (especially with the coupons from parkpvdairport.com)

Given that my gripe was the extra 15 minutes of uncertainty getting to the airport from Winchester at 7am, I'm not sure PVD is my solution

While I'm griping, how about the fact that:

1. My parking ticket never has my parking location after an overnight stay any more; and
2. The digital floor signs that used to be very accurate are now NEVER accurate

Heh, indeed, although I find it strange that I've wound up in Econ parking so many times in the last 4 months, and not for the previous FIVE YEARS :-)

Consider yourself very lucky.
