Fun Trips from Boston

Guys, this is my first post at FT and am pretty excited for some usable input!

What i am looking to do is compile a list of FUN destinations to go from Boston in may that are within a direct flight or a quick connection away. Also important is price..am looking for something under $350.

FUN destinations include Warm, beach, quaint, relaxing.

Dont want to go to Bermuda, Nassau or San Juan.

Any suggestions?

St. John, USVI. It is a great place to visit.

Are you restricting your travel from Boston in May when the Sox are out of town?

You can occasionally get deals to Aruba, but I'll admit that $350 could be tough.

miami is also a possibility and a direct flight from boston. you could always drive down to the keys too.

I don't think you will be swimming in Nova Scotia in May!
I think I would go with Miami / Key West as suggested earlier.

Fly non-stop to Plattsburgh, NY, and take your rental car on the ferry across Champlain, the USA's sixth largest lake, to Burlington for a fabulous Vermont getaway. Lake and mountain scenery. Outstanding outdoor recreation, museums, Ben & Jerry's, Vermont Teddy Bear, performing arts, fine arts, dining, nightclubbing, etc.

how about Tela near SAP? Flights are usually pretty cheap from BOS.

+1

You can get pretty good deals on direct flights from Logan to STT. One of my favorite places to go for a 4-day weekend.

That would be my idea of a fun trip from Boston. Lobster, strawberries, lighthouses, beautiful beaches, peace & quiet. Maybe you might want to consider PEI too.

Cape Breton north of Halifax is incredible. Beautiful drive. Not too much in the way of amenities (hotels and restaurants) but really memorable countryside. It's never tropical, exactly, though. ;)
