Cars at GRR
I realized there isn't a car report for Grand Rapids, Michigan so I thought I would start one tonight.
They have an Emerald and Executive Aisle.
On Executive was:
Chevy Suburban with Leather and 600 miles
Dodge Caravan Crew
Brand New Charger
Mitsubishi Endeavor
2 Impalas
Malibu with leather
On Emerald was:
2 Chrysler 200s
Town and Country
Ford Edge Limited with 6.7 miles
Dodge Avenger
Mazda 6
I was debating between the Suburban and Ford Edge Limited being I need to pick up some items from FedEx, but chose the Ford Edge Limited. I think this was the first time I chose a car from Emerald instead of Executive since becoming Executive 5 years ago.

ditto . . . I'm heading into GRR early August and curious if someone can post an update for EA/ES.

May 22: one Volkswagen SUV-looking-thingy in the Aisle. That was all. I think there were 5-6 large cars/SUVs in ES but didn't look too closely as I quickly headed to another rental company instead.

Re-routed flight left me here needing a ride. It's a small station so selection was pretty limited, although at least I was not stuck with counter service.

Dodge Durango Crew
Chevy Captiva LTZ

Rented over the weekend with a decent selection. Emerald had several Chevy Malibus, Chrysler 200s and Kia Souls. A Jetta, Corolla, one Altima. We went with a Malibu as we needed a USB and that was the first car that had one.
Executive had a much more varied selection: Jeep Compass, several Fords, can't remember the others! (It was late and we were only choosing from EA)
Easy pick up and return there, bigger selection than I expected.

Dropped off my one way to GRR this morning. Decent mix on ES. Included a Cherokee Trailhawk, 4Runner SR5, Encore, other various sedans. EA was mainly Camrys and Jettas. Saw quite a few Tahoes in storage.
Upgrade area included a Challenger, Camaro coupe, and Camaro convertible.
The check in agent was really happy to get my Taurus that I drove from STL, apparently they must not stock too many PCARs in GRR...

Ran through at 5:00 PM because I was in the area, just to see what I might expect when I pick up a vehicle at the same time next week.
Standard fare littered both aisle's. Only standouts were a Charger SXT, a Fusion SE with luxury package, and an Impala LT (if you can call that a standout). All of these were in ES. I wish I had paid closer attention to whether the Fusion was a 2016 or 2017... Only SUV's in sight were a few Jeep Compass models and a snazzy looking Jeep Renegade.
Mustang convertibles were being offered for a $25 upgrade fee per day.

Picked up there yesterday (Tuesday) around 11 AM.
ES had a bunch of SUVs, an Impala and a 2017 Lacrosse. I went with the Lacrosse.
EA had a couple of F150s and a Fusion Hybrid.

It does not have true ES/EA due to sharing space with others. In order to have true ES/EA they need their own space with the ability to have an employee control access to get out. Many smaller airports will set aside some cars to mimic the aisles, but you will still need to go to a booth to get the keys.
