Alamo @ MCO Q.

The standard sized pickup category is priced much less than even the compact category.

If I book the truck can i just pick a car/SUV from the midsize or fullsize aisle? I’d be not stopping at the counter. Would be linked to my alamo account just heading to the booth in the garage.

If your reservation is with Alamo you can't take from the National aisle, if that's what you're asking.

We will be renting a car at the Nice, FR train station for 3 days. If we return the day or evening before (so anywhere from 15-25 hours early, would there be any penalty? I’m happy to pay the three full days just wondering about an early return fee.

Also, does anyone know if they have after hours returns?

I am EE and have a SJC>SFO rental coming up for a vacation. My wife and I would like a convertible, but there is no option to specifically rent on on the booking page. I booked a midsize right now to get the Executive selection, but is there a way to guarantee that we'll get one prior to showing up and hoping they have one I can upgrade to?

It seems like only certain classes are allowed to be reserved for one-way, so often special classes like convertibles don't show up for one-way bookings. Since SFO is so close if it fits your travel plans you could try to a roundtrip booking at SJC and Uber to SFO.

I will be renting a car with a coupon code belonging to a US university - NASPO
Has anyone had any luck in getting the car with a similar code/promotion?

Not sure what NASPO is, but I’ve used University contract codes before, but I am affiliated with the specific university’s code I used.

Should be the National Association of State Procurement Officials....belonging to each university
Did you get asked for corporate/university ID at the Enterprise rental desk?

Why do you care? Presumably, if you qualify to use the code, you have the appropriate ID...

I just booked a Pickup (F150 or Similar), but I certainly don't actually want a pickup. Just to confirm, I can still pick from ES or EA, correct?

Should be fine, unless there are no cars on the aisle.
Just need to book midsize or higher for aisle access.

Saw your Hertz PC - status match over to National for Exec Elite to earn free days faster.

Good suggestion, thanks. I'm already Executive, but might as well get the additional bump up.

New to National - transfer from Hertz and status matched to EE. Very happy so far! My clients have a contract with Enterprise which I can access. I've rented from Enterprise long ago and never as EE. I see the rental will count towards credit and that one is charged the class booked. However, is there any choice of car as EE? If so, at which locations? Do EEs tend to stay away from Enterprise when they can or are they happy with them?

Are you asking whether there is a choice of vehicle with Enterprise? If so, the answer is no. You’d have to rent from National to have aisle access and choice of vehicle. For that reason, most folks favor National over Enterprise (and of course, skipping the counter). The National credits are nice though when renting from Enterprise makes sense.
