Picked up a Camaro SS with 18000 miles on it Monday June 10th around 10:30 PM from a very empty executive aisle.. A few sedans and SUVs and that's about it. Would say it was maybe 25 % full.

In January I arrived late on a Sunday night and remember that the executive aisle was fully stocked with several Challengers and other fun cars.

National has really made some horrible changes, I stop renting from them 2+ years ago, I either do Silvercar or Sxit.

Totally understand, however my comapny’s coporate rate with national includes full coverage insurance, and will save me quite abit compre to sixt. However, I see that sixt do usually have nicer cars when booked luxury catogery.

Maybe you should come back? I've been renting from them once a month on average for about a decade now and unless they're totally sold out (on weekends) I've rarely been disappointed in what I take off the lot.

OR

Maybe you should look over the fence, the cars that I get from SXIT are far better then what I get with National and of course Silvercar is MUCH better than National.

Doubt I'll get a better rate at Sixt/Silvercar than my corp rate at National though.

So if you didn't have a corp rate would stay with national?

If I didn't have a corp rate or status I'd go with the cheapest agency.

Don't forget that one-ways are not really Silvercar's or even Sixt's specialty.

Today was "I hope you like Nissan" day at SAN National.. Frontier x3, Rogue, Sentra. Other than that, a Silverado, Charger V6, and a Fusion. <15 cars on the lot.

Went downstairs to Hertz which had a full lot including an SLC300 and a Q50.

SAN has been horrible for me since they moved to the new facility. Even the service sucks now. Maybe because the employees are now hidden from the sun, being in the dark making them more moody.

LAX always have good selections and are never short of vehicles.

Honda wants to keep residual values high so they don't generally sell to fleet and don't have a lot of sales incentives either.
