Was here on Sunday. Had reserved a Premium, but was completely pointless. They wouldn't give anything better than a Maxima which I can usually find on the Executive Selection at most airports. ES was full of all the regular stuff, I didn't bother to walk to the EA. They absolutely wouldn't budge on the Premium res, not even a Volvo sedan. Insisted on an up-charge for anything else, so at this location if you're Executive already just reserve the Aisle and forget it. Other locations I've been to have been FAR more generous with Premium reservations (BMW, Audi, etc).

Last summer I rented a Corvette in MCO through Hertz, does anyone know if National at IAH have anything similar? I've seen the Ghibli at other airports, is IAH one which has them available? It's not available to rent online but wasn't sure if some vehicles were held back...

1 nice CX-5 with nav
at least a couple grand Cherokee limiters
we took a VW Atlas base model since it was the only thing we saw with 7 seats.

Enerald had several muranos, rogues, Santa Fe’s.

Anyone been to IAH lately? I frequent the airport but usually don't rent there. I have executive isle status. Thanks in advance!

Not a lot of choice today around 11am on the aisle

challanger v6
fusion
Toyota Tacoma pickup
silverado ld (2019 but last years model)
Altima
equniox
cherokee

that was about it

All the premium suvs and sedans were put to one side.

I took the Silverado as it was brand new with 4 miles on the clock. I have never driven one before. It’s not a patch on the 2019 ram 1500

Saturday at 615 pm

A good variety but mostly uninteresting cars on the executive aisle.

Several full ill size trucks.
Several dodge journeys
1 maxima
a couple challengers
1 fashion hybrid
1 edge
1 equinox
a few Santa fes
1 Mitsubishi outlander
a couple muranos
a few rogues
several altimas
a few of the large Kia suvs
3x 2 door wranglers

we took one of the journeys. Meh. Drives ok but underpowered and no bells. Wish we took the maxima

Was here again a couple of Monday's ago with standard mix on ES. It was cold so I didnt stay long as Avis had the best deal this rental. Well stocked 2 rows including F150, Impala, Fusion, Equinox, Ram Trucks etc Luxury area was sole Lincoln Continental being driven off and they had several XTS and Infiniti for paid upgrades.

Late post but 6/30. One way to MSY
Honestly looked like a Nissan dealer.
Upgrade:
-A6
-QX50
-Corvette

Reserved/Hold/Who knows/You can't take
-XT5
-Acadia
-Q70 (geez they still make these?)
-Grand Caravan x2
-Continental

ES:
-4Runner TRD
-Outlander
-Outlander Sport
-Any/every combination of color and trim level of Altima
-Any/every combination of color and trim level of Rogue
-Maxima (missed my opportunity)
-CX5 (bold choice going with white leather...looked a little rough tbh)
-Compass

EA:
-Camry
-Eclipse
-few Altimas
-Jetta
-18 Escape with expired FL plates

Was going to take the CX5 but a worker was taking a few laps around in an XTS and was able to take it. 11k, TX plates and A/C seats.
m907 and Ordpc like this.
