Picked up a car 6/16/23 Friday around 11:30PM due to my flight being cancelled so I could one way it to Nashville.
Aisle was filled with a couple altimas, camrys but most of it was a LOT of mid size suvs
Buick Envisions, some Mitsubishi mid size suvs, lots of Jeep compasses, rav4s. I opted for a Buick Envision for the roadtrip.

Just returned an almost new (140 miles at pickup) Genesis G80 - very nice ride! Hopefully that starts to make the rounds.

Do you remember what class this was? Was this a GXAR like a BMW 3 Series or did they put it in as a BMW 5 Series? Or did they class it as a LCAR since the badge isn't really a well-known premium brand?

My return receipt says "Full Size Elite 4 door/Automatic/Air" if that helps. I don't have anything from pickup ( I think I actually did get a receipt at pickup but have since discarded it).

Thanks - thats GXAR (same as the 3 Series). It looks like like for the CT 5 they have downgraded the class for the Genesis probably because the brand doesnt have the same weight as a Mercedes, Audi etc. I am pretty sure the G90 is meant to compete with the 5 Series and not 3 Series.
I cant wait to try the car though - it looks really good! I would be curious to try and see how the car handles

9/22 (FRI) late night:

ES and EA both are filled with Dodge Chargers and Challengers. A few compact size Chevy SUV. 1x Kia Sportage.
Took the Kia Sportage. Design looks very cool, but I am not a fan. Very loud acceleration, no keyless entry/push button start.

Cars at DTW - Weekend Before Thanksgiving

Reserved a car for 1 week starting on 11-20-23 around 11am. Asked the greeter if they had any Volvo SUV's they said anything outside the Executive Aisle/Emerald lot is off limits for Thanksgiving.
Lot had plenty of choices, listing below:

Sports Car
- Mustang Convertible
- Camaro Convertible
- Challenger

Sedan
- Malibu
- Camry
- Charger
- Toyota Crown

SUV
- RAV 4
- Equinox
- Tuscon
- Blazer

I spotted a Q5 in the reserve lot and asked them for it but to no avail. They offered me a 2023 GLA 250 base model and took that.

Exchanged the GLA after one day since the suspension noise on Michigan roads was very tough. The following day the DTW lot had pretty much the same car choices. After walking around for 15 minutes I was approached by a greeter asking what specific car I was looking for. There was a 2024 Red Mustang Ecoboost at the farthest aisle in the back. Asked the greeter for it and she said let me take it. Awesome and helpful service from National as usual.
