What did you end up finding? I'm in the same situation coming in less than 2 weeks. Want something fun.

Anyone visit PHX lately? Anything good in the EE or Premium Upgrades section?

Booked through Hertz. It's considered one of their Dream Cars. I fly in tomorrow so we'll see if they even have it. Last time I reserved an "Exact Model" car I didn't receive the exact model they didn't have it. Booked a Mustang GT in Miami they tried to give me a Challenger and I said no. They offered a Convertible Camaro SS which I accepted as a replacement.

The AMG was $125 a day with my Amex Platinum CDP discount. I'll have it Friday through Monday.

Picked up this Thursday at 8 PM. A much better selection from the last time I was here. The Emerald Aisle had a number of mid-size and Standard Sedans that was a little Kia Soul heavy plus some pick ups and mid-sized SUVs. I took a VW Jetta with just under 1,100 miles.

Thanks I will look out for one next time I am in the states. There's far too many Nissan Frontiers in the pics!

Picked up on a Sat early evening. Surprised there was a number of empty spots (but a lot of cars in overflow). Greeter was super friendly and helped me find a car — asked for an XC90 or a VW Atlas and he found me the latter sitting on the EA. Otherwise selection was fairly non special. VIP area had an Audi Q3 and an Escalade.
