compared to Hertz, how strict is National when it comes to "too many miles"?

I have been steering all of my rentals from Hertz to National in the last several months.

When I was with Hertz, I rented quite a bit and put around 350 miles per rental day on the cars/SUVs.

It never really triggered any warning, but I've had co-workers who put on the same number of miles and got "friendly" warning from Hertz.

Compared to Hertz, how strict is National when it comes to "too many miles" on "unlimited mileage" rental cars/SUVs?

I'm surprised by that... I used to regularly put 400+ miles a day on cars and not even a word was said to me. The most I ever did I think was 620ish miles on a one-day rental. All of that was at Hertz.

Not at all for any of the Enterprise companies. I permanently rent and frequently drive between NJ and California (before you assume anything, I’m a professional blackjack player and I play at casinos all over the country) . Drive 5-10k miles a month. Never heard a peep. Even when I drove 15000 miles in 2 months on one car, getting it serviced twice, they didn’t bat an eye.
Unlimited mileage and flexibility to have a car wherever I fly to is why I decided to permanently rent. The miles I drive would cost me $1000 a month in depreciation/wear and tear. I pay less than that to rent, sometimes I pay as low as $170 for a month when doing a Florida drive in or out.
