2014 Dodge Dart Limited Ride/Report
ICAR
23/35
Powertrain: 2.4L Multiair II 4-Cyl - 6 Speed Automatic
Features:
- Nappa Leather Interior
- 6-Way Power Drivers Seat w/ Power 4-Way Lumbar
- Heated Seats
- Heated Steering Wheel
- Remote Start
- uConnect 8.4" w/ Garmin Navigation, Sirius XM, USB/BT and 6 Speakers
- Proximity Key w/ Push Button Start
- Backup Camera
- 7" TFT Gauge Display
- Ambient IP Surround and Racetrack LED Lighting
- Auto Headlights
- Dual Zone Automatic Climate Control
Pros:
- Quiet Interior
- Great Looking Exterior especially w/ Racetrack LED at night
- 2.4L has better all round drivability albeit a bit buzzy at higher RPM, but pulls fine. Much better at passing on highway vs. the previous 2.0L.
- Lots of tech features including Garmin NAV w/ 3D Building Views
- Generous trunk for a compact, I was able to fit 2 large suitcases, a carryon suitcase and still had room for a backpack and then some.
- Customizable Dash
- Heated Wheel/Seats come on automatically below 4C (~39F)
Cons:
- Not really anything other than the buzzy sounding engine at higher RPMS (Minor issue)
- I would assume the 9-Speed should also improve things even further when it arrives
- National failed to include a snow brush
Conclusion: I enjoyed the time I had with the car and wouldn't hesitate to rent it again. However not sure that I would take the more common National SXT Trim due to lack of features.
=============================
Front: Sorry for the Snow Mohawk, I had to clean off the car with my hands.

Interior:
Night Rear (Racetrack LED):
Night Interior (illuminated IP Surround): It should be noted that the illumination is actually quite subtle and not bothersome at all. It looks brighter in the photo than it actually is.
Heated Seats/Wheel:
Digital Dashboard is fully customizable, here are some of the different screens:
Note: Ignore any warning lights you see, I didn't have the engine running for some of the shots.

I also had a Flex Limited a couple days before but decided to give the Dart a whirl cause Flex isn't exactly the thriftiest of cars on fuel.
