Uninspiring selection at PIT in the late afternoon. Only cars of note were a Lincoln MKZ with 12,000 miles and a base Dodge Charger GT with cloth seats. There was also a Mazda CX-3 and Toyota Highlander XLE. And there was a Dodge Challenger Hemi but it looked like it was set aside. Other than that, some nondescript Mitsubishi SUVs, last gen Jeep Wrangler, and base Hyundai/Kia cars.

I saw a 2019 Maxima at PIT this morning, first I've seen. Doesn't look much different on the inside other than the slightly better infotainment system, and it's still only equipped with front-wheel drive and a CVT. Nothing really of note on the lot.

Not much going on in the late afternoon. Nicest thing on the lot was a Mazda CX-5 and a GMC Acadia. Everything else was Altimas, Grand Caravans, Mitsubishi SUVs, and other run of the mill National stuff.

PIT on Friday night had a Mazda6, two Mazda CX-5s, a Ford Flex, a Jeep Cherokee Limited, a bunch of pickup trucks, and the usual Altimas and base trim Hyundai/Kia.

Not much happening Sunday night at PIT. An Infiniti QX60, Jeep Cherokee, and a Honda Civic (odd) were the only noteworthy cars.

Aisles were fully stocked at PIT late Thursday night, which is uncommon for this location in the evening. Selection was very SUV heavy but pretty decent. I saw 3 Grand Cherokees, a couple Edge Titaniums, a couple Pathfinders, a couple base trim Chargers, a few Fusions (one AWD), a Dodge Durango (haven't seen one in awhile). There was a sea of Nissan Rogues - probably a third of the lot.

PIT was in rough shape Wednesday night. There was one each of a base Charger, Impala, and a VW Golf station wagon (interesting). The rest was your choice of base trim Altima, Sentra, Elantra, or Grand Caravan.

Picking up a one way at PIT to YYZ on Wednesday. May upgrade to a premier selection if the aisles are spartan upon mid afternoon arrival.

They tend to be pretty barren in the middle of the day at PIT, but that also means you might find something nice since they're trying to make up for low availability.

10/2 at 4pm:

Couple Rogues
Couple Tuscons
Couple Altimas
couple Cruzes
Couple Edges
1 Optima
1 Jetta (manual seats)
1 mini countryman came out while looking (manual seats)
1 grand cherokee came out while looking

only premier upgrade was 1 Land Rover Discovery for $50 a day which was surprisingly tight.

Ended up taking one of the higher trimmed Altimas as was wanting a sedan and it had the most leg room and decent MPG.

On Thursday night the aisles were mostly full with a decent but not too interesting selection. There was a Fusion Titanium Hybrid with tan leather seats that looked very nice, and a Mazda6. The rest was the usual assortment.

Some nice cars at PIT early Saturday morning, including two brand new red Mustang convertibles with PA plates - one of them with 12 miles - and leather seats. Interesting that they would introduce them to the fleet in October.

There was also a Challenger R/T Hemi with a cloth interior, which was interesting because two more identical Challenger Hemis with cloth interiors were being offered as $30/day upgrades. And there was a lone Camaro convertible in base trim.

Only other car of note was a Mazda6. Other than that, it was half-full with nondescript cars and Grand Caravans.

There were a couple rare treats in the executive aisle at PIT last night: a BMW 740i and an Infiniti Q70. There was also a Cadillac XTS and XT5. I checked the miles on the BMW and it was under 2k with PA plates. An employee told me they just got several BMWs delivered.

Everything else was run-of-the-mill.

Upgrades were a BMW X7 and Land Rover Discovery for $50/day.

I was back at the airport briefly later in the evening and looked at the garage from a distance and saw a BMW 5 Series being checked out.

Late last night, PIT had a BMW X3, two Suburbans, a Pacifica, and a Sienna.

The lot was otherwise empty.

The upgrades were a Lincoln Continental for +$30/day and the same Land Rover for +$50.
