I'm planning a trip to Austrailia and NZL for March and would be greatful for any suggestions or experiences on the best way to get down there form MUC. So far I have a flight with Austrian which seems quite reasonable. What class do I need to book, if I want to upgrade to C? Would it be a multi-region upgrade? Can I use the companion award for upgrades as well? I'm planning to visit Sydney, Melburne, Brisbane and Auckland. Do you know of any *alliance airpasses for that use or similar? Sorry for the many questions. Since I'm a LH SEN with solely intra-German flights I don't have any experience with international award travel:-)
