Status match help
 

I need some help!


Having lost my job earlier in the year my status is about to expire given that all of my recent flying has been intra-Europe, primarily in discounted Y.

I'm currently BD *G; the status expires in November (validity on card 12/09). Through some "mismanagement" by AmEx, FB Gold (Elite Plus) on the card (expiry 04/10) through KLM. (FB AmEx sent me the wrong expiry date last year but my activity with them has been nil.)

Given I'm about to go back to school, I doubt I'd be able to do any MR's. I basically need a card to take me through 2010 when I foresee my flying activity be back to a level where I can maintain my status.

What are my options as to a status match? I can provide a Belgian address which ought to get me a match with LH but would not mind changing to OW as I assume I will back to LON come June next year. Without providing statements, does anyone know of better options?
