Database or Calendar of vacant FF seats ?

Where can I find a website that contains comprehensive frequent flyer seat availability by airline, by FF class and by day/month?

I'm sick of searching every day/week/airline by myself!!

Thanks!

Award availability changes daily based on each airline's projection of seats that will otherwise remain unsold. The closest thing to a single source is Expert Flyer, a subscription service which can search the award inventory on many, but not all, airlines.

Continental Airlines is not one of the carriers for which they have information.

In addition to mia's comments it is worth noting that CO, NW and some other airlines do have monthly calendars available when you do a search. It is only slightly better than daily searches and they aren't as thorough for partners, but it is better than nothing.

Delhi, sign up for ANA's frequent flier program. Their site has a pretty good tool that shows Star Alliance award availability across many carriers. The best part is that they are showing partner award availability - the exact inventory you'd be pulling from with your CO miles once CO joins *A. (This is different than the inventory an airline sets aside for its own fliers.)

Of course, it remains to be seen whether CO will block these awards on their end like United is known to do. Does CO practice "Skyteam filtering" now? I don't know...

CO has publicly stated several times that they have no intention of implement *Net blocking/filtering.

And the ANA tool still requires searching day by day and truly segment by segment to really find availability. The good news is that once you find it you know it is there, but the bad news is that it is still somewhat cumbersome to use.

Sweet. ^ CO is the one U.S. legacy I know nothing about - mainly because I've never had a big interest in Skyteam in general. But with them moving to *A I will learn more about them and figure out if I should at least start an account with them.

True...it's not the greatest UI. I wish you could easily type in airport codes and dates and click a search button, with the results remaining in the screen for easy re-searching. But I can't complain: it's the only tool I know of that searches most of the alliance and actually shows the partner award availability.
