UA Status match processing time

I faxed my CO Plat OnePass statement a week ago to UA. When I asked how soon will I get approve, I got two different versions from the UA's CSRs re: the processing time for approval. One said 3-4 days while the other said 2 weeks. As of writing, I have not gotten my 2P status match yet. For those who received theirs from UA, how long did it you to wait? I am bit anxious for the match because I have 2 MRs coming on the 12/2 and 12/9; I would like to access the E+ seating plus avail the 2P mileage bonuses.

Any update on when AA will be accepting matches again? Last time I called they were only offering challanges, and said they only do matches a few times a year. :)

Last match was in June this year... You can get instantly Gold in combination with Platinum challenge! This is, of course, not official and depends on CS agent.

I wouldn't generally suggest counting on a status match, with some exceptions like employer-/corp. travel-arranged status matches and the kind of thing mentioned above. The norm for most desiring AA to status match another airline outside such channels as mentioned herein are the challenges/fast tracks to status (if flying a certain amount within 90 days).

I got it

After logging in to change my seat assignments at united, my status indicates Premier Executive. That's way too cool! Now I can earn those extra bonus miles. :D

Thanks! That would at least be something... Any guess on when they will be offering it again?

UA Matched US

I just spoke to the MP Service Center, they apparently have a backlog of about 300 of them... they've processed applications up to Nov. 9.

Faxed in a letter to UA with a printout of my online statement that showed my miles on US and a week later I've got Premier on UA.

NW status match

Faxed in a letter in early November to the number listed in the first post with LH SEN and SQ PPS statements. Exactly 3 weeks later, matched to NW Gold Elite valid through Feb 2008. ^
