Here's another Southwest one.

After arriving several hours late due to assorted mishaps: "We thank you for flying with us today and again are terribly sorry for the delay. If you are still unhappy with us, thank you for flying American Airlines."

This wasn't during the safety announcement but was safety related.

During the NBA finals game 5 last year. We were flying from Chicago to Miami. The plane was late and the Captain was extra nice and put the game live on radio. The game was in the final minute and this F-A kept interrupting the live broadcast every few seconds and nearly every passenger started complaining. '38 seconds to go and the bulls trail by 5 points.. 'For those of you travelling to Rio....'. 25 seconds left.. 'please remember to take all you belo9ngings with you.
1.9 seconds to go. 'Here at United Saefety is our NUMBER ONE concern. Not the Bulls!! Even the ohter F-A were telling her to shut up!

With all those Chicago people on board, man was she brave.

As the plane landed and was trying to come to a stop at DCA, a voice came from the cockpit: "Whoa, big fella, WHOA!!"

Anything you see from Northwest Airlines with a person in NWA
uniform MUST be a real employee...it's a rule! I'll bet all/most
airlines do likewise. Even the voiceover on the inflight video...
and the voice on the WorldPerks Automated Info Line are all
NWA employees.

philforest - I have heard the "50 ways" one with my own ears! Gotta
love FAs who maintain their sense of humor.

Aboard a Mahalo Air flight from Oahu to Kona:

"There are four exits on this airplane, two at the front of the cockpit and two at the rear of the cockpit."

MJW: I wouldn't have posted it if I hadn't heard it. I guess these things get passed around from airline to airline.
