Miles for Refinance Mortgage

I have read older posts :-)

I am looking for Current recommendations for a good company to refinance my house to get milages where 0 point, 0 closing, 0 cost to me.

I understand that I'll be paying higher rate, but at current 6.5%, it's about time. :-)

Tks

John

I used Lending Tree to finance my house a couple years ago against my Realtor's recommendation. Everything went smoothly except the posting of DL Skymiles. I emailed the Loan Officer and he manually intervened. The automatic posting occurred the following day. I ended up with 22K X 2.

I was very pleased. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif

As a United Premier member I refinanced using Washington Mutual Home Loans. WaMu has a strong presence in California and Washington. The service isn't as good as using the local branch but it's still worth getting the miles. Make sure you shop some rates since the mileage offers- where you have to register through a special 800 number- don't always offer the best rates.

Good luck

I used the lending tree for a refin this past Nov and got about 20k usairways miles.

I was going to refin anywayz, so I figured might as well get some miles too. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

I went (twice) with Wells Fargo Home Mortgage...their service is very good and I got FF miles on AA. There is no limit to how many times u refinance. Also ZERO fees..!!! No out of pocket expenses, period...! I can recommend an agent if you'd like..

Just refinanced my HELOC with bankone. Should get about 20K miles on United. I should take about 10 weeks. I will know how difficult it is to get the miles. But no fees (except for 100/- recording fees charged by the county) and very very competitive rate.

Have done a re-fi with eLoan; rates that week were quite competitive with everyone elses. No problem having the UA miles post (be sure you use the link to eLoan on UA's website though).

I believe you have to contact the lender through the airline website. I would strongly guess that you are SOL since the transaction has closed. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/thumbsdown.gif
