which coach product and why?

I am inquiring between United and Delta. Which coach product would you prefer between these two and why? Which has more room for someone who is 6 feet and 270? I don't fly often but am going to start going to see family in Tenessee as most of you will remember and my dad told me for people my size delta's coach product is pretty bad, and I know AA's is nice, but am curious which YOU personally like better and why if you don't mind sharing? Also, which do you find easier to redeem award tickets on, as almost all tickets will be purchased using pts earned from a CC. Thanks in advance!

I would say United is far better if you can fly enough to make elite status so you can get E+ seating. Otherwise, I value their coach products about the same.

I definitely will not fly enough (unfortunately) to get elite status, so that is out. Thanks for your input!

Without Status, base it on schedule and prices, they will be about the same. If you could make Premier on United you get the extra seat room.

One advantage for Delta, you can reserve exit rows without Status when you book for a bit more room, you can not on United.

Since this topic isn't really about miles and poits, but rather about other aspects of travel, I'm going to move it to TravelBuzz.
