500 miles for your knowledge and creativity

Hello All,

I just wanted to remind everyone about the EyeSpy area at flyertalk.com. The one time mine got picked, I got 500 miles on an airline of my choice; I don't know if this is the official prize since the website doesn't say so, but I imagine it's consistent. I think EyeSpy could be nice venue for sharing our very best tips and tricks, and I thought it might come alive a bit if the incentive were acknowledged.

Best,
Magdalena

The problem with the eyespyes is that the information there is usually quite dated and discussed in FlyerTalk a long time ago.

Maybe Randy could also reward some of the juicy early tips in Flyertalk.

This is very good...I never knew about the EyeSpy page. Magdalena and Patron, I think you should both get an award from publicizing and linkifying this.

Yes, PG, I agree that the info there is often outdated. Thus I thought that a little incentive might bring the place alive and make it the "warehouse" it wants to be!

How strange! Magdalena, did you misspell your name when you registered, or are you really "Mad-galena"?

Do you have to eneter or sign ip for something there?

Punki Nov 20, 2003 7:08 pm

I wonder if eyemd_2020's comment is a reference to some esoteric information known only to those who are insidered in the eye world.

Can't you just see Madgalena becoming the name of some strange sitcom like Faulty Towers. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif

It does look like it was an innocent typo.

Madgalena Nov 20, 2003 8:29 pm

I know. It's terrible. It was a typo, and a few weeks before I noticed. My name is Mag-da-lena, Magda for short. The techie's can't do anything for me. But I've grown to like it, sort of.

No, you don't have to sign up for anything to participate. You simply submit your best mileage-earning inside tip, trick, or link, and if your EyeSpy is picked for the bi-monthly email newletter from webflyer, you win.
