No -- you can only choose one.
However, you can sometimes "double-dip" in the case of an involuntary offline rerouting. |
It depends on exactly what you mean by your question. You can have different segments on the same itinerary credited to different FF programs. Of course, each segment can be credited to only one program, and the partner rules for each program will be applied individually to each segment.
Here's a personal example. I flew EWR-HKG on CO, and then onward HKG-SIN on CX and back the same way to EWR. This was purchased as a single itineray. CO flights were on CO numbers, and CX flights were on CX numbers. Tickets were issued entirely on CO ticket stock. I got CO credit for the EWR-HKG segments. I could NOT get CO credit for HKG-SIN, as CO and CX are not FF partners. The fact that I bought the tickets as part of a CO itenerary and that the tickets were on CO ticket stock made no difference. I was able to get AA credit for these CX flights through the oneworld partnership. You may not be able to get all your FF numebrs for each segment put in the reservation over the phone, but they can accomodate you at check-in. Just be sure to ask prior to them printing the boarding passes so that the correct number will be printed on the pass should you need to follow up later. |
One can mix LH M&M and UA M+, and it frequently happens whether one wants it or not.
