Ebay CD - worth it?
 

i just stumbled upon this:

is it worth the $10 you'll pay for it?

Hmm, very very interesting. I'd like to know if the seller offers a "trial period" (ie shareware) to try out the software first...

It's probably worth the $10. Whether it's worth more than that, who knows? With 99.1% positive feedback and over 2,700 ratings, it doesn't sound like a huge risk.

If somebody buys this, I'd like to hear their opinion of it. Thanks.

I bought this but I threw it away in the day I got them. The CD is a burnt CD.

What do you mean, the CD is a burnt CD? Could you not get any useful information from it? Everything the ad says is very enticing.... but then so are most scams.

You're correct, this doesn't belong in MilesBuzz, and I'm not really sure where it could go either.

I'm going to move it to Misposted Threads. Hopefully one of my colleges will have an idea.
