Ebay Auction for FREE Freq Flyer Miles

No kidding, for once an ebay auction that isn't out to make a buck - see http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=2192696847

I have seen this many times on eBay - I do not remember who but I recall reading an FTer say he/she posts stuff like this on ebay for everyone's benefit.

Hmmm, I wonder if there are many cereal boxes still out there with the certs, or if Kellogg's has moved on to something else now.

Also, are the offers mutually exclusive? The wording says one cert per Aadvantage account, but since the certs are different, does that mean one of each per account, or would using the offer with the 300-mile mean you can't send in another with the 200-mile?

This might be useful as a topping-off move for me.

What's even more amazing is that unsuspecting people are actually BIDDING on and paying for similar auctions for these starter certificates. Keep in mind that these are available for free on the public domain as they can be accessed and printed for free directly from their respective web sites, to see but a few of the auctions look at

Anyone been able to fined the kelloggs boxes?

Our local Safeway has lots of these boxes.

This auction is almost as bad as the people who were selling the Baja Fresh free burrito coupons - you could get them almost anywhere for free, and people were selling them for real money on eBay.

If I sell the starter certificates on ebay so I would have more money to eat cerials and fly more on AA, would I be in trouble with American or Ebay?

I did the same thing during the summer, I posted the free site and got some people mad at me
