I'm guessing it means "a group from the US capitol area" but I don't know for sure.

Part of the DC contingent is still here. If ticket is subsidized- maybe I can go- has anyone clarified whether Saturday morning is till a possibility- seems there was conflicting info about the CTO and its hours.

Yes, DC contingent was simply referring to FTers in the Washington DC area, in this case, for the purpose of obtaining the tickets for these bookings.

Cheers.

Have not posted in code capture form as it will make page read too "wide" most likely.

ART was also part of the fare basis. ART=A(First Class restricted) Round trip.

The date 31st of October indicates that this might be the two for one price afterall since the deadline is that date for that special price.

The odd part is that its only sold in United Kingdom..

Has anyone a screensaver of the rules of the F class ticket? If so, could you please mail it to me?

I could be wrong as always, but it is my firm HUNCH that anyone not booking these by credit card has no chance. You will see if you have a "reservation" by adding the PNR you should have been given into the website below.

THEN if you have one it accepts, it will print out your entire itinerary like below:

I booked May, July and August, 2 persons each date, all in Confirmed First Class at £111.40 total inc taxes per booking of 2 persons. Amedeus CONFIRMED each booking when asked via web link below.

How did you enter a credit card in the booking? I tried but wasnt able to do so. Something about credit card only available for e tickets or so, otherwise you need to choose pick them up.

I dont have a cc in my booking so it could be a fun day at LHR on saturday morning. Anyone else at LHR on saturday?

Oz,

Were you able to book by credit card, or did the website tell you that you had to pick the ticket up at the TG ticket office in the UK?

I put in my CC information and it is in Amadeus now as well. Does this mean we don't need to pick up the tickets?

I don't see any phone number on the website to contact Amadeus and the ThaiAir office didn't seem to know anything either (though they sounded like they were getting a lot of calls).

There was an option for putting in your credit card info on the last booking page - but you still have to pick it up at the ticket office. That's how I understand it - i'll check my cc online tomorrow morning and see if a charge has been held against it, though.

I was able to put my credit card info in. You had to say pick up, and charge credit card now or something to that effect. Anyway this is on the top of my booking when I go into the profile

TRIP PLAN DETAILS

You have confirmed this trip and it has been sent to our reservation office for ticketing.
To print this page, please use the print function in your browser.

So hopefully it tickets soon. This will be a mess if they don't honor these and they have to contact everyone.

I am able to access my reservation through the Thai airways website (Thaiair.com).

Can't wait till tomorrow to find out if they honour these.

Assuming the tickets are issued tomorrow, can they still be denied thereafter i.e. on day of travel ?

We were given 2 options.

1. To reserve and hold the tickets.

2. To book them here and now with a credit card.

I think if you took option #1 you have ZEROOOOOO chance of them honouring it.

I think if we took option #2 we have CLOSE TO ZERO chance they will honour it.

Personally, I like odds of slightly more than zero - to totally zero.
