Priceline- FF miles?

I am sorry if this is covered in another thread, but I could not find anything:

Do you recieve FF miles on Priceline's Name Your Own Price bookings?:confused:

No.

No you do not

Policy is such that the answer is supposed to be "generally not".

In practice however -- and for a few years now -- I almost always do receive FF miles on Priceline-purchased tickets -- including those gotten through the "name your own price" process.

You increase your odds of getting FF miles on such itineraries by crediting the miles to an airline other than the operating airline for those flights.
