Steve from Blues Clues & the Flaming Lips: Steve has some real talent!

Well, maybe I'm a little late finding out about this, but my new favorite musician also happens to be my 4-year-old's favorite actor.

Steve (the old Steve) from Blues CLues has teamed with one of my favorite all-time bands, the Flaming Lips from Norman, Okla. to record a really great CD and released Aug. 12...

Highly recommended for anyone who has seen Steve on Blues Clues and wants to hear how talented he is

I recommned listening to "Troposhere" from the following site:

Yes, the miles angle on this thread is dubious (at best).

Steve did leave the show because he had to go off the college so maybe he needed some miles to fly back home.

I was just kind of stunned at this news because I've always been a huge fan of the Flaming Lips & and also a huge fan of Steve Bern (because my toddlers are huge fans). Never in a million years did I think these two would converge.

It's not a children's album, by the way. It's as good as any of pop music out there, IMHO. Steve is distancing himself from the green & white striped shirt.

You really should know better than to post a random thread like this in Miles Buzz, jmartin. It's time for one of the moderators to euthanize this thread.

Calling a moderator!

So sad that some people again have to start ruining things for the majority. sigh

Relax - one stray thread isn't going to ruin MilesBuzz. I think OMNI is scheduled to re-open soon anyway.

It doesn't seem (from my perspective anyway) that there have been that many good promotions lately (aside from NWA FFF). Seems like things have really slowed down this summer.

Is that unusual, or is summer usually a slow time?

Maybe, but if many follow your example . . .

If true, then why couldn't you wait a few days to unleash this gem of a thread?

Yeah, I was almost inspired to open up a bunch of random threads, but then I turned listless.

Clearly, the best way to make an off-topic post go away is to keep adding to it, with 8 (now 9 replies in the first 1.5 hours.

This way, everyone gets to see it, and can see what a hot topic it is.

Otherwise, it might quickly end up ignored on the second page. That would be a shame.

You go to attend one little meeting and look what happens.

Closed for obvious reasons...
