AMEX MemberShip Miles...Best USE
 

I have about 80,000 AMEX Membership Miles and would like to get the experts opinions on the best program to move them into. I am a member in all of the hotel and airline programs, but I am looking for the best value for my efforts. I was thinking about SW, would be about 6 or 7 free tix, and then selling them for a return of about $1,800. Your thoughts?

There are numerous existing threads in the Amex forum discussing what to do with MR points.

I don't recall selling awards being one of the allowed options though.

The management of Flyertalk and the vast consensus of participants do not condone sale of any awards, as it likely violates the program's T&C's.

Please follow UpgradeMe's suggestions and search back in the archives of the Amex forum, to see if you can answer your questions. If you still desire some aid, I recommend starting a new thread in that board.
