jamiel -- i'll be in chicago the weekend of the 12th also, but my flt on the 14th is out at 1pm. I'll be staying at the Palmer House Hilton.

stimpy: everthing in Switzerland is "near" Geneva-airport - as the longest distance you can travel (if the roads are open at all - snow/avallenges) without getting to France/Germany/Austria/Fuerstentum Lichtenstein/Italy is 330 km (200 miles) ...
But I'll let you know if I can/want/may to improve my french for a day or so in my compatriot's western part of "my" Confoederatio Helvetica (thats is why the abbreveation/postal-code for Switzerland is CH). |

Rudi: Thanks for the Old San Juan tips! If you are right and my SJU-ORD is delayed, then we may just be destined to only see eachother in 30 second segments rushing to catch flights http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif at least until this fall at the Party in Paradise http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif !!!!
Jamiel: I quit my annual "Parrot-fest" in Key West last year due to the problems with Gulfstream from tpa-eyw and mia-ewy through United. Besides, Key West has become too much of a New Orleans East anyway... |

OK Matt - seats 3 C & D are confirmed!

Rudi,
Is it really less than 300 Km from Geneve to Lichtenstein? I've driven from Lichtenstein to Zurich before and it seemed pretty far. Perhaps that was because I was looping around lost in Chur for a while. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif I take it you live in a Deutche Canton? |

stimpy: Geneva-Chur-Lichtenstein - that's about like going LAX - SNA with a SAN detour!
nice try / but very delicate theme: "Deutscher Kanton" = "german county" (that's what a former northern neibhour of Switzerland, who wanted to create a 1'000 year lasting empire, called our country). Correct is that I live in the "swiss-german speaking part of Switzerland". [This message has been edited by Rudi (edited 03-02-99).] |
Sorry, I didn't mean to cast aspertions. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif
I've always been fascinated by Switzerland. I thought the cantons were generally referred to as Italian, German or French? So which Canton do you reside in? Sprechen Sie Raeto Romanic? |

Because of possible winter "storm of the century" my trip is postponed till later in the week but still going:
18 Mar UA 637 EWR-ORD 06:45-07:58. UA 664 ORD-EWR 20:30-23:26. If you are traveling around the Northeast 3-14 to 3-15 you might want to double check flights. SUpposedly this snowstorm's going to be significant. And I'm going to have to find 100 ways to say it's snowing. ------------------ :) CATMAN :) |
Isn't there a "storm of the century" every other year or so?
My trip this week: March 18 MSY-IAH CO1636 6:00A 7:10A Hotel at IAH ~ Wyndham Greenspoint March 19 IAH-MSY CO1627 1:55p 3:00P Overall a pretty useless trip for me in terms of FF credit ... don't get to fly Delta (at least I don't have to fly SW though since the meeting is at IAH and not closer to Hobby), so I'll get 1,000 CO miles for the flights and 500 AA miles for the Wyndham stay. |

Celestar340: Have SK changed the configuration of their 767-300's?
When I have flown on these aircraft their have only been seats AB,DE,GH in EuroClass and AB,DEF,GH in Tourist. Have they increased the number of seats? Or reallocated the seat numbers? MF |
Hey Merry -
Sorry - my mistake. On the SK flight, it was 4H and it was a window. No the configuration are still the same. Wish they would change to never long haul aircraft though! Cheers! |
Looking for post to edit, I realized I never posted my March schedule. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif
