London mini????
At the FT mini-party, some folks were talking about a mini in London the weekend of May 22. (see the UA section for more about the false "$99 BOS-LHR double mile special http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif ") I have to be in London on the either may 14th or 21st, and right now, it looks like I have some flexibility (although the principles seem to prefer the 14th). Is either of those dates preferable to anyone who might be interested? Rudi: If I came on the 14th, could you be enticed to dinner Friday night in London? Looking at the May itinerary thread, I assume the 21st would be out for you...Merry, can we get you out of that castle of yours for a friday night frolic in soho??? Please post or e-mail if you are interested (need to decide and book my ticket).
I promise: no speeches!!! THANKS |
I'm afraid I'm out of the picture on any weekend in May except the first 2.
|
sorry Matt - all weekends (exception is Whitsun holidays when I am in the US and afterwards at the French Open in Paris: Roland Garros) in May and early June are reserved for the Swiss (Senior) Tennis (team) Championships - and we want to defend our title(s).

The only weekend good for me is the second weekend of May. (Vegas first, D-C the wknd of the 21st and I have to work Memorial Day weekend.)
We could push it to JUNE? Any thoughts? http://members.aol.com/ddmitchum/sylv_cat.gif CatMan http://members.aol.com/ddmitchum/sylv_cat.gif ------------------ |
Matt: If I am not busy, of course I will be there... I now this great new lap-dancing club just off Wardour Street.
Of course if I have to take a fifth mortgage on "castle tumbledown" the finances may be a bit stretched http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif Nick PS: By busy I mean Simone will let me out to play. |
Actually, the wknd of the 14th of May is also bad for me. I'll probably be too burned from work to really hop on a plane across the Atlantic.
If we can plan something in the near future, maybe before the P-I-P then that may work for me. http://members.aol.com/ddmitchum/sylv_cat.gif CatMan http://members.aol.com/ddmitchum/sylv_cat.gif |
Had to book...it's the 14th for me...
And Rudi, I'm talking about a FRIDAY night, not a weekend http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif I understand though, and accept that your fuzzy green balls come first! |
ENJOY the LONDON FLyerTalk convention folks and take pictures for NJDavid's FlyerTalk gallery!
But leave out that lap thing stuff. It's a g rated site and I don't want ot scare my cats! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif http://members.aol.com/ddmitchum/sylv_cat.gif CatMan http://members.aol.com/ddmitchum/sylv_cat.gif |
Matt,
I will also be flying to London on May 14, from Seattle through IAD, arriving LHR at 5:55 a.m. on 15 May. We're not on the same flight perchance? |
QL: See post under May intineraries. Looks like you're on the same flight, next day! Will you be in London? Where are you staying? Maybe a round of bitters late saturday night???
|
Matt,
Rats! Off by a day and I can't switch it because I'm going to a theater opening in Issaquah, Washington, Thrusday night. I'm still figuring out how to get to Florence from London, but if I'm around, I'm buying! http://www.brodietech.com/rbrodie/images/lionl.gif QuietLion http://www.brodietech.com/rbrodie/images/lionr.gif [This message has been edited by QuietLion (edited 03-25-99).] |
