Stop over flights recognized?
 

Hi,

I'd like to book and Amsterdam-Boston return with a sky team partner. With a stopover of 3 hours in New York, will I get recognized 2 or 4 flights?

Do I have to check out and check in to get all the flights (4) recognized?

If you are asking what I think you are asking:

If there are four flight numbers, it's four flight segments. If two flights share a flight number (a continuation), that will count as one "flight" - it would be direct but not non-stop.

if you want to do anything other than change planes, 3 hours isn't enough.....you should be able to get a longer connection, if thats what you need....

U need to check in only once in AMS, where your bags will be tagged BOS. After U clear US Customs in JFK, U will have to re-submit your bags & clear TSA Security. On the return, all U do in JFK is walk from gate (to restaurant or bar then) to gate! U will be credited for all flights as long as there are 4 flight #s as Icuhere has posted.
