The magazine companies must be getting desparate to add subscribers. For Time to have paid subscriptions available for $3.95 per year means that they probably even lose money just on postage. But grab these deals while they are around.

Here is a tip. Check your old subscriptions for inactive magazines. My Red Herring subscription went inactive several months ago. I called ValueMags and they applied a credit to a new subscription that I wanted.

I have received magazines for orphaned miles in the past and had no problem. Usually a very good deal IF you want the magazines offered.
