Picking up TG tickets in LHR this weekend

Anyone want to go? If nobody in London can do this for all of us, I will volunteer to go provided that I can find an award seat. Isn't this just the kind of emergency we all save up for anyway with our miles? http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif I imagine I could just pick these up at the TG counter at LHR... Any thoughts all?

Good morning madam, I just flew over from the US to pick up these 150 first class tickets costing GBP0,00 each. Thanks! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif

Thai is closed on weekends. I'll fly to LHR tonight if I can confirm these will be honored.

You're in Toronto?

Yes.

Seriously, however, I would need to have mine "paid for" and picked up prior to this
Saturday, and I would be glad to help out in any way that I could.....
Thanks and Best wishes, Dave

Just spoke to Thai, tickets have to be picked up in London (not anywhere else).

She did not know if the fare would be honoured and suggested calling the Thai office at 011 44 870 60 60 911 before going down to see if the fare will be honoured.

I'm currently travelling, but my wife was going to go into the CTO in London to collect the tickets this evening. As soon as I speak to her, I'll post back here.

In any case, they haven't cancelled my reservation yet. So fingers crossed!

Matthew would you pick up for others as well? Happy to courier you whatever is needed.

While there is no doubt the "sale" was Buzzworthy, in keeping with FT norms, these types of posting belong elsewhere. I'm moving it to "Community".
