Combining United miles from different accounts
 

I want to issue a cousin of mine a ticket to fly from Uruguay to Greece in July, but I need 70K miles. I have 50K in my account right now, and my parents have 13K a piece.

I called up United to ask some questions about the awards tickets and such, and I also asked if I could transfer my parent's miles to my account in order to issue the ticket.

The guy told me that it was impossible to do.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can combine/use these miles to get this ticket issued?

United does not offer family or household accounts. There is no way for you to be able to combine miles from different accounts.

Welcome to Flyertalk. I'm going to move your question to the United board, and maybe some of the "residents" might be able to give you some ideas on how to earn miles quickly. Unfortunately as SanDiego1K noted, the method you are suggesting is not available at United.
