Flight Change
 
My first post on Flyertalk!!

I have been reading this forum for the past two weeks and what a great resource it is.

I just recently booked a flight from OMA to HAJ (Hannover, Germany) with Northwest via my FF miles. Northwest sent me an update that my flight from OMA to EWR has been changed. Instead of leaving OMA at 11:45am, the new flight leaves at 8:20 resulting in a 5h 25m layover. The flight date is Dec. 24th, so it's quite a ways away.

What are my rights in this situation? Can I ask to rebook on another flight? There are plenty of options available though MSP. However, these segments are more pricy (rulebuster required).

Welcome to Flyertalk. As you question relates to a single program (NWA), it is more appropriate for that airline's forum. "MilesBuzz" covers general mileage program issues.
