transferring UA to spouse
 

I'm a newbie to this wonderful forum you got going. Saw you yesterday on a CBS Sunday Morning segment..., and got my attention.

My question is simple, what are my options in transferring only 5,000 points to a spouse(her UA account)? Can that small amount be done quickly, and what would the cost me? Haven't flown NW for decades..., anyway I can transfer 5,000 to Delta? Help. Thanks.

Randy may want to chime in, but in the meantime, you can check out this mileage converter. Yes you can transfer mileage to your spouse, but at a GREAT loss of miles! :eek: Don't forget, you can also book an award ticket in anyone's name! :D So if you have (say) 25,000 miles on UA, you can book an award ticket in her name!

As far as your NW miles, you (as stated above) could transfer them to DL, but you could get an award on DL using your NW miles too!
