Welcome to Flyertalk, dac. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

I'm actually going to lock this thread, but allow me to explain my thought process.

Normally, I'd move a post specifically about Continental over to the CO forum.

However, this looks like a post about selling miles. And if the intent is to draw attention to the offer, it violates Flyertalk's terms and conditions. Of course, we can legitimately talk about the practice of selling miles here. That's different than advertising a sale, and might imply a differently worded post.

If it were an ad for award tickets to trade, that would be up to the Coupon Connection moderators to figure out whether it was an appropriate post on that forum.

Since this post involves some tricky issues that could suggest one forum or another, and could skate the line of Flyertalk's rules under certain circumstances, I'm just going to go ahead an lock the thread.

If there's a specific aspect of it that y'all want to discuss, you might go ahead and re-post wherever appropriate.

* Share with CO members that someone is selling CO points? Post it on the CO board.

* Make Flyertalkers aware of an opportunity to trade points? Well, leave it up to the person who has the points on offer to post that to Coupon Connection.

* Discuss the ethics/legality/experiences of selling/bartering points? That might be appropriate here, but you might also start with a search of the board since it's been discussed in some detail.

Best,
Gary
